Clarify Your Hair!
Clarify Your Hair!
First things first - for great hair, scalp care is number one. There’s no point in treating your lengths if scalp build up or silicones are causing limpness, lifelessness, or stifling hair growth. So use a clarifier when you next wash your hair.
Many off the shelf clarifying shampoos are quite strong, and can strip your hair of its precious natural oils as well as all the baddies.
Using our It’s Pure Clarifying Mineral Clay Treatment is ideal. It’s such an easy step as it only adds an extra fifteen minutes to your hair washing time; simply massage through damp hair and leave for up to fifteen minutes, before washing out.
Clarifying helps remove build up from environmental toxins, silicones in hair products, or just normal scalp build up. It is also ideal to use before moving on to step 2…

Add In An Ayurvedic Treatment!
Add In An Ayurvedic Treatment!
Making your own hair mask with an ayurvedic powder - like Cassia or Amla - is such a simple, easy, self care treat.
Which you choose depends entirely on your hair need - and you can tweak your recipe to suit you.
Cassia is ideal for those who find their hair is dull, or lifeless; it works to aid volume and shine. It doesn’t moisturise like a cream conditioner, but rather strengthens the hair from the inside out.
For a moisturising, conditioning treat, use a Cassia Gloss . Instead of just adding water, add in some extra ingredients - like coconut milk, or oil - to help moisturise dry, damaged hair.
Amla is perfect for those with waves or curls who find them a little lacklustre; it helps to nourish and strengthen the hair bond, giving loose curls bounce and life again! If you want a little moisture in your mix, add some natural yoghurt or oil to your mix, to help with hydration.
For a really luxurious feel, add in a couple of drops of essential oil to your ayurvedic mask. Ylang Ylang is renowned for its hair care properties, but you can also use oils like mint and rosemary for a scalp boost, or lavender and rose for moisture and care through dry ends.

Use An Oil Treatment!
Use An Oil Treatment!
Last, but by no means least, add in an oil treatment. Our pure blend of Macadamia and Argan Oil is an organic mix of two natural hair care heroes, perfect for aiding hydration and taming frizz - plus it can be used as an all round multi-tasking product!
Use it in an Indian head massage on yourself as a pre-wash oil. Your scalp needs moisture, and doing a pre-wash head massage helps stimulate your circulation, aiding with healthy hair growth and reviving irritated scalps.
Or if you find your lengths just look a bit “flyaway” or dry, you can use a small (very small!) amount through the mid-lengths and ends to maintain shine and moisture after washing. Do this through damp (not wet) hair so that it can really soak in.
Not to mention; it’s not just a miracle product for hair, it’s perfect for your skin, too. Feeling your skin is just a little bit tight from all the cold weather? You can add this oil in - again, just a tiny amount - onto areas where your skin feels so dry, after cleansing but before moisturiser. It’ll just help lock in that hydration, helping your skin feel great and look fantastic.
