Organic Cassia powder is sometimes called 'colourless henna' but it is not henna. It can be used as a conditioner for giving your hair volume and shine, or you can mix it with your henna or indigo paste.

Cassia is also sometimes called 'blonde henna' because if it is soaked in lemon juice overnight it can give a golden tint to blonde, light grey or light coloured hair.

Description Review

If Cassia is mixed into a paste and used immediately it has a conditioning effect only and does not give a golden colour.

Cassia can be mixed with a small amount, say 10% henna to achieve a strawberry blonde shade on light coloured hair.

Cassia is also good for your scalp and it is said that it can help to get rid of dandruff.

This Cassia powder is hugely better than from my previous supplier.

It is lovely and smooth and easy to mix and put on. It also rinses off much more easily. Good quality and lovely results. I didn't add a colour this time, but I will add some henna next time and see how it goes.

This is much better quality cassia than others I've tried. Leaves an amazing gloss on hair and the tactile quality of the paste is quite special. Kind of crackles and pops as you squeeze it but that's part of the fun. I use it with small amount of henna but cassia is the main base ingredient for its conditioning. I trust all my hair colour ingredients from Its Pure.
