This hair colour is suitable for blondes who want to enrich their hair with a beautiful Strawberry Blonde tint as well as give their hair radiance and boost the volume of their hair.

It will not lighten your hair so won't work on dark hair.

It’s Pure Strawberry Blonde hair dye is entirely natural and the final result depends on the existing colour of your hair, so will be unique to you.

As a guide, you can expect the following:

To check the colour, we recommend you strand test a small section of your hair before applying to your entire head.

A few other things to bear in mind:

It’s Pure dyes contain no peroxide, so will not lighten your hair.

You can achieve a stronger colour if you leave the paste on for longer.

If your hair has been chemically lightened, it will affect the colour result. - Chemical lighteners make your hair more porous and thus absorb the colour less predictably.

There may be slight variations in colour result between different batches of Herbal Hair Colour. - The botanical ingredients can be affected by varying climatic conditions from year to year.

Herbal Hair Colour Strawberry Blonde Ingredients - INCI:

Lawsonia inermis (henna) powder, Cassia auriculata (cassia) powder, Emblica officinalis (amla) powder.

Instructions:

The full instructions and tips are included in the packet. The following is an overview:

Mixing: You can either mix the powder with warm water and apply to your hair or you can mix the powders with some acidic fruit juice such as lemon juice and leave to soak for 8 to 12 hours.

Application: Divide your hair into sections and apply the paste to each section. It should be fully coated from the roots to the ends. Put plenty on. When your hair is completely coated with the paste, cover your hair with the shower cap included in the packet. Clean any leftover paste off your skin (such as on your face and the nape of your neck).

Leave the paste on your hair for 30 to 120 minutes. The longer you leave it to develop, the stronger the colour will be. Rinse out your hair until the water runs clear. Use a little shampoo if you would like, then rinse and condition as usual.

Colour not strong enough

Based on the pictures of the before and after I was expecting a stronger tone while I saw almost no difference compared to my current colour.

I'm sorry to hear the colour didn't work for you.

If you have darker blonde hair, then it might be that the colour wouldn't make much of a difference for you.

Strawberry Blonde typically colours hair that is grey, white, or a light-medium blonde; it could also add some warmth to hair that is a slightly darker blonde.

The dyes won't give good colour if there is anything bonded to the hair that might prevent it from taking so well, such as silicones which are found in hair conditioners or styling products - so we would always advise you make sure to properly clarify before using one of our dyes.

Mixing colours

After finding red henna too intense on its own ive started mixing my colours with this strawberry blonde for a less fiery red. I have very wiry hair so I keep it on for min 4 hours usually 6 or overnight otherwise it doesn’t always take on my grays. Bonus points that it conditions so well. Love this company’s products

This product has exceeded my expectations. My white/grey hair has been covered and my hair looks just like it used to all without peroxide and chemicals that I can no longer use for health reasons. I chose to mix up the whole package as I was unsure of how much I would need but I now know that half a pack would do so it will be even better value in the future.
