Description Review

It’s Pure Very Dark Brown hair dye is entirely natural and works with the existing colour of your hair, so the result will be unique to you.

As a guide, you can expect the following results:

To check the colour, we recommend you strand test a small section of your hair before applying to your entire head.

A few other things to bear in mind:

Repeated applications will help build up a darker shade.
The colour will deepen over a few hours and days as it oxidises on your hair.
On very light-coloured or light grey hair it sometimes appears to have a green tinge at first, but don’t panic - this will fade gradually over a few hours or days, as the dye oxidises and the colour deepens.
If your hair has been chemically lightened, it will affect the colour result. - Chemical lighteners make your hair more porous and thus absorb the colour less predictably.
It is not recommended to use chemical bleach on your hair after using this dye, unless it has faded or grown out. This is because bleach will not remove the indigo element of the dye, so you may possibly be left with a bluish colour. If you do want to try bleaching, please strand test first.
There may be slight variations in colour result between different batches of Herbal Hair Colour. - The botanical ingredients can be affected by varying climatic conditions from harvest to harvest.

I am allergic to all dark hair dye and trust me I have tried them and done so many patch tests it looks like I’m a drug addict but this is the first hair dye I can use with no reaction and gave me exactly the colour I wanted. I’m so thankful that there is a hair dye without a million chemicals. only thing is it turns into a thick paste which gets quite heavy and you look like a swamp moster when you go wash it off. honestly I would prefer to handle that than my face swelling up and want to scratch my head off with the itching. i also have long hair and only needed one box when normally i need two to cover all my hair. brilliant product will definetly continue to purchase.

Amazing hair due

I wasn’t sure how well this would work. I have very very dark brown hair. I made the paste and let it on my roots for 3.5 hours. I was amazed - it covered all my greys ! Normally there is a strong chemical smell and my scalp starts to itch but nothing like this happened. The colour is amazing. I will never go back to buying my previous colour up - this is a definite swap I will stick to

perfect product following box dye allergy

I am so pleased that I found these products. For years I used the henna blocks from lush but I found them messy and wasn’t getting the coverage I wanted. So I switched to a box dye. After only 2 years using a box dye I started getting scalp irritation. I was quite scared after that experience but feel insecure about my strong greys against my very dark hair.

This dye has been amazing. No irritation (I did do a patch test first to be sure) and the coverage was great! In fact, even better the second time because I used a lot more and concentrated it on my roots. I really recommend this is you have a sensitive scalp. Thank you

Very Dark Brown

I've only used it once so far and am pleased with the result. I have grey roots and the dark brown covered ok. My roots are now a silvery brown so lighter than my other hair. You may notice it leaves the hair green but this should disappear over time. I'm going to dye my hair again soon and hopefully it will darken up. I'm happy to be able to cover my roots and Pure has enabled me to do this without any allergic reaction. However l will still do a patch test each time as recently my scalp has become very sensitive and I'm now unable to use any chemical hair products. If you have any allergies or have had reactions in the past then definitely give Pure Herbal a go!
