A few other things to bear in mind:
If your hair has been chemically lightened it will affect the colour result. - Chemical lighteners make your hair more porous and thus absorb the colour less predictably.
There may be slight variations in colour result between different batches of Herbal Hair Colour. - The botanical ingredients can be affected by varying climatic conditions from year to year.

I love that this is a natural product, but unfortunately I was very disappointed with the results. It was difficult to apply, dried out very quickly and flaked off, staining my carpet. It also has a very strong smell that I can still notice whenever I wash my hair.
Most importantly, the colour was nothing like I expected. My naturally light brown hair has turned a yellowish dark brown with no red tones at all, despite using the Auburn shade.
I really wanted to like this, but unfortunately the colour and application experience were both disappointing. I won’t be purchasing it again.

Thank you so much for your review; I'm sorry to hear of your poor experience.
You mentioned the dye flaking off, which doesn't sound right; the dye should stay wet and covered on your hair while it processes, and left on for a minimum of 90 minutes.
If the dye isn't kept covered on the hair it won't form a 'bond', and so you likely won't achieve a good colour, unfortunately.

Did the trick in terms of covering grey, loved the idea of it being vegan but it smells disgusting and my hair is back to plain old grey. Smaller amount of product with an applicator for eyebrows would improve this offer ❤️
