Description Review

It’s Pure Natural Brown hair dye is entirely natural and the final result depends on your initial hair colour, so will be unique to you.

As a guide, you can expect the following:

If you have...	The likely result is…
White or very light blonde	Warm dark blonde – warm light brown
Dark blonde	Warm light brown
Light brown	Warm light to medium brown
Salt-and-pepper mix of white and light brown hair	The white hair goes light brown, and the light brown hair a slightly darker brown

To check the colour, we recommend you strand test a small section of your hair before applying to your entire head.

A few other things to bear in mind:

It's Pure Natural Brown shade is lighter than the Dark Brown and is also a warmer colour.

You can achieve a darker colour result with repeated applications. If your hair is very light coloured to start with it is also possible that the colour outcome may be warmer (i.e. slightly more auburn).

The colour is also affected by how long you leave the paste on. If you leave the paste on for 1 hour it will be a lot lighter than if you leave it on for 3 hours. It also tends be a warmer colour when it is left on for a shorter time and a cooler and darker brown when it is left on for a longer time.

When you first wash out the colour it will often not be the full depth of colour, but it will gradually deepen to its true colour. So, it is best to wait 24 hours after you have done the strand test to see how the colour develops.

If your hair has been chemically lightened it will affect the colour result. - Chemical lighteners make your hair more porous and thus absorb the colour less predictably.

There may be slight variations in colour result between different batches of Herbal Hair Colour. - The botanical ingredients can be affected by varying climatic conditions from year to year.

I like it but it did not cover all the greys

The color is very nice, I left it in for 3 hours (the max amount of time) but it definitely did not cover all the greys. I think I will try a different color next and hopefully i'll have better results.

Nice to use and great knowing no chemicals

I bought the natural brown and pre colour treatment. I used the treatment one day and the next I used the colour. Went on nicely, although VERY green! and left on for 3 hours. Washed off and it was a lovely brown, albeit with a tinge of red. Covered grey nicely but was a little lighter than the rest but I was happy with it. Over next couple days colour was more auburn but I loved it. I have washed hair twice since then and the colour remains and my hair is in better condition for sure. I will try the dark brown next time and just experiment between the two. Worth the extra effort and time knowing you are not putting chemicals on your hair and scalp.

Honest opinion

Ok so like many I have suffered reactions to a point of A and E I had tried every manufacturer under the sun, the last was grizzly mountain it appeared ok a couple of times then GOT ME omg awful reaction again, so I have left for x2 years and was looking last week and came across this product and after reading comments on here I decided to give it a go , ok so last Saturday was D day and whilst my partner went out with her friend for 3 hours I started, mixed like thick double cream and applied nice and thick and as it’s my beard I used shower cap supplied and hooked over ears 🤣I no right 🤦‍♂️I left on for almost x2 hours waiting for that reaction and waited I thought mmmm so I washed off and shampoo and dried and looked, I thought well the grey beard had gone but I was looking at slight green beard 🤣🤣😃however not to worry as x2 days later the green has gone and I am a little itchy in places and today is Monday so still a bit irritating but nothing too bad, I have just ordered a dark brown and next week will apply to see if I can just get a bit better colour so all in all impressed and obviously buying again , this is the product so far in my life that gives far less irritation however for some people would not even get that I’ve just got problematic skin, for me I give 4 out of 5 and that’s because I’m a bit irritated however that’s not really fair to the product so I guess a 5 should be awarded and remember I had a total grey beard ✌️😀Put your faith in this product you won’t be dissatisfied however at first could appear a bit green but that does go.

My coloured hair

I’ve been colouring my hair now for a many years now and been looking for a nice colour and not to harm my hair. If I go to the salon it cost me over £100 to have it done doing it myself there’s lots of products on the market, but they don’t take to my hair as I’ve got older Been looking for something to use on my hair this product I’ll give 10 out of 10 or 100 out of 100. It takes for my hair and the colour seems to last a lot longer and it does not hurt or damage my hair. Many thanks, Tracey

A miracle for me. I suffer with a terrible hair dye allergy and have tried absolutely everything. And it all turned me into a swollen, itchy monster. Except this. It's been two weeks since using it and I thought I'd wait before giving my review. This has been fantastic and for the first time in 15 years, I have no grey hair and even coverage. My hair is shiny and healthy looking and I'm just so annoyed with myself that I didn't try henna sooner. I followed all the instructions, slapped it all on my hair, covered it with the cap, waited for exactly 3 hours, then rinsed it all out thoroughly using a little mild shampoo to help loosen things and then conditioned and was done. Blow dried and styled it and it looked great. One thing people don't always mention is what a fantastic hair conditioner henna is and it's very noticeable for me. Thank you for your fantastic product. I will be ordering again soon x.
