It will not lighten your hair so won't work on dark hair.

It’s Pure Strawberry Blonde hair dye is entirely natural and the final result depends on the existing colour of your hair, so will be unique to you.

As a guide, you can expect the following:

To check the colour, we recommend you strand test a small section of your hair before applying to your entire head.

A few other things to bear in mind:

It’s Pure dyes contain no peroxide, so will not lighten your hair.

You can achieve a stronger colour if you leave the paste on for longer.

If your hair has been chemically lightened, it will affect the colour result. - Chemical lighteners make your hair more porous and thus absorb the colour less predictably.

There may be slight variations in colour result between different batches of Herbal Hair Colour. - The botanical ingredients can be affected by varying climatic conditions from year to year.

Instructions:

The full instructions and tips are included in the packet. The following is an overview:

Mixing: You can either mix the powder with warm water and apply to your hair or you can mix the powders with some acidic fruit juice such as lemon juice and leave to soak for 8 to 12 hours.

Application: Divide your hair into sections and apply the paste to each section. It should be fully coated from the roots to the ends. Put plenty on. When your hair is completely coated with the paste, cover your hair with the shower cap included in the packet. Clean any leftover paste off your skin (such as on your face and the nape of your neck).

Leave the paste on your hair for 30 to 120 minutes. The longer you leave it to develop, the stronger the colour will be. Rinse out your hair until the water runs clear. Use a little shampoo if you would like, then rinse and condition as usual.

The greys are gone!

It covered my grey! I was born a redhead but at 66 it needs enhancing! This product is very effective, thank you ‘Pure’.

Great stuff. It did make my blond hair darker though. But also a lot stronger and healthier.

Exceeded expectations.

I’m a natural redhead and was looking for a way of keeping my hair from fading whilst giving it some shine. This strawberry blonde colour was perfect because it wasn’t too bright (it’s mixed with cassia and alma) so it’s a more golden coppery natural colour. I mixed it with hot water and some organic aloe Vera powder. Cover and let it sit for a couple of hours in the fridge. It was like a thick Greek yogurt consistency and didn’t drip everywhere which is a bonus. It was lovely and smooth and had a great cooling, conditioning effect on my scalp and hair. My hair is quite thick and about an inch below my waist and I got two applications out of this. When I was done with the first batch I just put it in a sealable freezer bag and popped it in the freezer. When I was ready to use it again I just defrosted it at room temperature for a few hours in a bowl and added a bit of lemon juice. You will notice a bit more colour on the second application. I can’t fault it. You can tell it’s good quality powder. And it has that lovely green tea, earthy smell. I’ll definitely be buying it again. I don’t need to apply it as often as boxed hair dye or toners either which is a huge plus!

Excellent cover of my grey hair

I have been using this colour for several months and I am very happy with the results, covers perfectly my grey hair and the results in my hair, where I still have some darker ones, looks very good. Also my hair feels healthier.

Strawberry Blonde

Excellent product gave my blonde hair a warm tint and my white hair got light reddish blonde tint, like a highlight effect, and my hair is now shiny and conditioned.
