Indigo is powder is made from the dried leaves of the indigo plant. It gives a blueish tint on light coloured hair.
Indigo used in Conjunction with Henna
There are 2 methods of using henna and indigo to get brown or black tones:
This henna is the best I have ever come across. I used the body-art variety. Only twenty minutes of contact on the skin (I should have worn gloves), and the staining was already quite intense from just twenty minutes. I left it on the hair overnight and am quite pleased with the result. I will be able to tell in 72 hours once it's had time to darken further through oxidation but I am really pleased with the colour as a base for applying the indigo next. I won't be buying any other henna. If I were a henna artist, I would not use any other henna. The amount of natural colour present in the powder is just remarkable.
Used this product for years wouldnt use any other brand .Works great on my grey . Hair is left in lovely condition 😃
I combined it with henna and bhringraj. It tones down the harsh orange tones.
I was so pleased with the results.you can tell the quality of the product.it is so pure and natural
