This pure certified organic henna and indigo combi can be used to dye your hair leaving it beautifully healthy, shiny and volumised. Depending on your initial hair colour and the method of application you can achieve a reddish brown, dark brown or black shade.

How to Combine Henna and Indigo to get a red/brown, brown or a black shade

There are 2 ways of doing this. The first method is more time consuming but gives a stronger result:

1. Two separate applications: First dye your hair first with henna so it goes copper/red shade. Secondly dye your hair with indigo and the red turns to brown. To get the desired shade you need leave the indigo on for the right amount of time. The longer the indigo is left on for the darker it will be. If you leave it on the maximum time it can go black.

2. Mixed together in one application: Soak the henna for at least 8 hours. When you are ready to dye your hair mix the indigo with water. Thoroughly mix the henna paste together with the indigo paste. For a more red /brown shade use a larger percentage of henna. For a darker brown use a larger proportion of indigo. To get a black shade use the double application method above.

Because everyone’s hair is different and will react differently to different hair colours. So trial and error may required the first time you use this to get the desired shade. STRAND TESTING IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED before putting the colour on your entire head of hair.

Quanitities of henna and indigo needed

The approximate quantities are as follow - it will of course depend how thick your hair is and how thickly you apply the paste:

short / chin length hair - 50 to 70 gms per application

shoulder length hair - 100 to 120 gms per application

mid back length hair - 200 to 250 gms per application

If you are mixing henna and indigo in one single application, the combined weight of the two powders should be what is given in the above guidlines.

Never arrived

Have been waiting weeks and the items never arrived, I’m really upset because I have been using the indigo and henna for a year very successfully. I emailed them and I’vejust been ignored

We’ve looked into the delivery and can confirm that the order was dispatched and scanned by Royal Mail when it was collected. Unfortunately, there have been no further tracking updates, so it appears the parcel may have been lost in transit. We’re raising this with Royal Mail so they can investigate what happened.

In the meantime, we’ve arranged a full refund for the order.

Pure hair care

This covers grey. I use 2 desert spoons red & 2 desert spoons indigo & add an extra teaspoon of indigo. My hair is lovely & conditioned . I leave on for 3 hours (bit of a downside) i cannot use anything else on my hair as I have severe allergic reactions

It takes time to
Work out timing and process but the greys have gone and have turned into beautiful red and deep brown. It’s all very natural , I’m really pleased.

Best henna I've ever used

Been using henna for over 10 years, this is the first time I've ever been able to fully cover grey's without red. In fact I'll probably leave the indigo on a little less time in the future, it truly went to black. Also, I've never used an indigo that wasn't clumpy and dry, this one is smooth and silky and adheres to the hair. Love it!
