Bhringaraj (eclipta alba) is an Ayurvedic herb. One of its many beneficial properties is that it fortifies hair, helping to prevent hair loss, balding, hair thinning, and premature greying.

A wonderful tonic for the hair and scalp, Bhringaraj is fortifying, stimulating and nourishing.

Bhringaraj powder is mixed into a paste with water and applied to the hair and scalp for about 30 minutes. You can also create your own custom mask/paste by mixing bhringaraj with other herbal powders such as cassia, amla or henna.

Bhringaraj grows wild in marshy areas - commonly found in India, China, Thailand and Brazil. Bhringaraj is a very highly regarded in ayurvedic medicine for its medicinal and regenerating properties.

In Ayurveda, Bhringaraj helps to reduce pitta which is the dosha that leads to hair ageing when in excess.

In addition to slowing premature ageing and greying of the hair, Bhringaraj may help get rid of dandruff.

Excellent product and quick delivery

I mix this with shikakai and have had excellent results. It cleanses well and the health of my hair has improved. I haven’t got much grey and it hasn’t increased!
