If you leave the paste on for 1 hour it will be a lot lighter than if you leave it on for 3 hours.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWhen you first wash out the dye it will often not be the full depth of colour but will gradually deepen to its true colour as the dye oxidises with the air.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn very light coloured or grey hair the colour sometimes appears to have a green tinge at first, but don’t panic - this will fade gradually over a few hours or days, as the dye oxidises, and the colour deepens.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf your hair has been chemically lightened it will affect the colour result. - Chemical lighteners make your hair more porous and thus absorb the colour less predictably. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is not recommended to use chemical bleach after using herbal hair colour containing indigo unless it has faded or grown out.
